TKA STUDENT COUNCIL
The TKA Student Council was an idea of mine back in 2020. In the midst of an election year, I had become increasingly interested in Politics, and was curious how a similar system could work inside a school.

Hence, the Student Council was born.

After proposing the idea to the principal, we began to set up the first Student Council Elections, which would be held over the course of a month, allowing for everyone to run a campaign. Naturally, I ran for President against two competitors.

Despite being a close race, I unfortunately lost the election to my main competitor: Angie. However, I would be appointed as Elementary School Representative for that semester, and I would go on to win the Vice Presidential Race the following year.

The Student Council became a body of student representatives that would organize events for the school, and ensure students had a voice in day to day operations.

Even after graduating, the Student Council lives on, and continues to have elections every year.
